How does an Afterpay or Klarna refund work?
If you have purchased with Afterpay or Klarna we will happily accept your return. The payment plan will be cancelled if we receive your return before the first instalment is due. – This means you will not have to pay a thing.
If the first instalment has already been made when you return the items back to us we can cancel the rest of your payment plan and refund the initial payments you have made.
If you wish to return certain products from your order, we will remove these items from your payment plan. The original payment instalments will remain the same however the final payments will be less or cancelled depending on the return amount. You can log into your Afterpay or Klarna account at any time to review your payment status.
Can I return my Afterpay or Klarna order to store?
Yes! We welcome online orders purchased via Afterpay or Klarna to be returned back to any Academy Brand retail stores for exchange or store credit only. - This excludes David Jones.

How to send your order back for a refund
Australian customers can now lodge and send their returns back to Academy HQ via the Australia Post Returns Portal. Follow the simple steps in the portal to create your return label. All returns are a flat rate of $9.15 charged by Australia Post.
Please ensure the Academy Returns Form is included within the parcel and filled out correctly and clearly. If you did not receive this view below.

Customers are responsible for shipping & handling charges for posting items back to us unless deemed faulty.
We will credit your original method of payment, excluding shipping charges and sales tax on shipping charges (unless goods are defective or not as ordered). Please allow up to 7 days for your item to be processed.
